Family Session Process
Say Hello!When you send us a message, we send you all the information about your session options, what to expect, pricing, and more! You’ll also be given a link to choose your date and book right from there.
Book Your SessionOnce you’ve booked with us, you will be able to pick a session date and secure it. You will also receive a questionnaire full of fun questions to help us start planning during your meeting!
Session DayYay! It’s finally here! Darling & Dear sessions usually begin about one and a half hours before the sun sets (unless you’ve chosen to get your hair and makeup done through us). We will go from awesome location to location photographing you in all different kinds of light and poses! We plan the time perfectly so that it’s over as the sun starts to set!
Ordering SessionAs soon as all of your beautiful images are edited, we will come back together for your Gallery Reveal and Ordering Session! We can do this in person or on a Zoom call. We will start our session off by viewing your photos in a beautiful custom video that highlights the best parts of your experience. Then we show you all of the products we offer, and you can touch and feel them all you want! We want you to fall in love with your products before you make any decisions.
During your ordering session, you will be able to order any of the custom products you’ve been eyeing and we are there to help you decide what photos or framing will work best. We can also help you piece together gallery groupings or show you what size would look good in certain rooms. The best part is that we can change it right there, so there’s no guessing what your product will look like!
We also have special print collections available during your session based on what is most popular among our seniors. This is the only time you can take advantage of these great deals, so make sure to invite your friends and family to come along too!
Product Pick-upImmediately after ordering, we process your payment and your order is on it’s way! Once it arrives to our studio, we will go over it with a fine-tooth comb to make sure it meets our high standards! When everything is ready, we will package it in our signature boxes and bags and you will receive an email letting you know that it is all ready to be picked up!
